Price of a dozen eggs in your area??

$1.... something for Store Bought Eggs

$1.50-2.50 for Free Range. The prices in not really going anywhere due to the fact that This area doesn't really care much where there eggs come from yet... I'm trying to change that.

i have been selling mine for $2 a dozen. some people pay it and are just ok with it. but others can't get their money out fast enough.

Thanks so much for all of your feedback on the price of eggs in your area. Store eggs go for more than $2 a dozen here so I don't think I will have any problem getting $3 a dozen for them. I have several people at work just waiting for me to start selling them. Thank again everyone!!

The local food co-op buys eggs from me for about $2.36/doz. I sell them directly to my neighbors (free delivery!) for $3.00/doz.

One of the national chain grocery store chains in town sells "organic, free range brown eggs" for $5.09/doz and $5.69/doz, depending on the brand. I would put my less expensive, local brown eggs up against theirs for flavor and nutrition any day of the week...I even have a better looking carton!
