I have 3 khaki hens and a drake and hope to get eggs soon! LOL other people around here are asking like $1 a egg. could I ask$10 a doz for eating eggs? or is that too much, or too little?

10 for eating eggs is way to much IMO. I'd never pay over 5. Hatching egg is a different story though.

I know I am in a different country but I sell my eggs for $8 a dozen. And a cafe offered to buy them for $12 a doz! So it just depends on where you live - same old story of supply and demand.

thats a lot of money for duck eggs to eat!

I know! But I live in an area that has a taste for interesting foods, a relatively high per capita income and a low duck supply. The Aussie equivalent of Washington DC. Duck eggs sell out at the local farmer's market for $10 a doz.

I sell mine for 5.50 at the farmers market in town during the summer, 5.00 at home and less than 100 miles away in the city they go for 6.00 per half dozen at farmers market and I see them advertised on craigs list at various farms for 4-6 a dozen.

Whatever other people are getting for their eggs, you should get that much, too. It's simply not your job to produce cheap food. People who can't afford home raised food can save money by buying their eggs at the grocery store. It's OK to get enough money to actually pay for all your expenses to raise the eggs.
