How much would you sell different ages of chicks for? I've got a bunch of month old crosses pullets i'm selling. when they were babies i was selling them $3 each because that was what others around here were selling them for... How do you judge when to raise the prices? I saw a month old purebred roo at the feed store for $15, and females even higher than that, but they are purebred and mine are not...

This is dependent on your market area. Here, chicks are $2, young birds (10 weeks or so) $4 and POL pullets are $12-$15.

If the cross is a popular one, it won't harm the price. If the cross is, a-hem, more of a mutt, (please pardon) it might not effect the price, but will likely cut into your potential customer base. Craigslist an advertisement and see what happens.

Well it cost around $25 to raise a chick to a chicken......but most folks don't take that into account. Get whatever amount you feel is fair with the local pricing for young birds and increase accordingly.
