Prime Day Deals on Amazon + Honey App

FWIW, as an Amazon Prime member, which I am sure many on this forum are also, I just got an email notice from Honey that there was a price drop on an item in my Amazon Wish List. I had been considering an item for gardening that was priced at $23.00, and Honey just informed me that Amazon Prime Day dropped the price by $4.60. So I jumped at the deal and ordered it.

So, good for me in adding that item to my Amazon Wish List and letting it sit there. Better for the Honey app to send me an email notification that the price had dropped on Amazon Prime Day deals. Take advantage of deals when you can as Amazon Prime Days are only 2-3 days long.

I often shop on Amazon.com and put items in my wish list that I am on the fence about. Given time, I might lose interest in that item and that is OK. Sometimes an item will track down in price a little bit and that might warrant another look. On this garden item I just bought, it was reduced 20% for Amazon Prime Days, and Honey tracked it as the lowest price on their history list. I always keep a small stash of ready funds available to "impulse purchase" items that go on good sales. So I jumped on that deal.

Just noticed that I will also be getting an additional 6% ($1.10) credit bonus for this purchase on my Amazon credit card during Prime Days. I think BYC website gets some referral credit if you follow a link from their website. So, here is what I got in case anyone else was interested.
