Wondering if anyone with a Woods coop is using the deep litter method? Didn't know if there would be any moisture issues with that method. Some, not all, videos mention moisture issues as they go to finally clean out the coop. Didn't know if this is a management issue or a method issue.

I haven't built mine yet. Still trying to think everything through. Ted Brown had an excellent description of his build of a Woods coop with lots of pictures. It is an open-air style with the plans taken from a book by Prince T Woods, published in the 1920's. There doesn't seem to be much detail on litter methods that I can find.

I would not attempt to do a composting deep litter in a floored coop.
Of the several true Woods coops I've seen here, no one is doing that.
