I brood on 2nd hand place mats to begin with. I roll'm up and toss when soiled. I make beda out of cloth scraps and cracker boxes. Very small stitches. I put food in open egg cartons no lid. Also some right on the floor. Not pictured, but I always have a pie plate under my waterer.

I like to have a wire basket no handles for any weak chicks, and a hand warmer is nice to have at hatch. A mirror is also good.

I also have chick electrolytes and no peck med.

I will check on eggs after coffee, but they seemed a day behind when I last looked, but I bet we have activity by tomorrow, if I don't see anything today.
