Just now I wanted to print a single post out of a thread because I want to save it for notes on genetics. I wasn't able to do this, instead I had to go to print preview, figure out which pages the post was one (it was a long post so it covered several pieces of paper). It also started at the bottom of one of my papers. So the top 3/4 of my paper I printed is stuff I don't even need.

Is there a way we can put a little icon or something down by the "quote" and "report" buttons that would print just that one post?

This would be soooo helpful and would save me a lot of paper!

That's an excellent idea!

In the mean time, you might try just highlighting the entire text of the particular post you want to print, copy and paste it to Word, save it, and print it from there.

Or just set up a folder in Word for all your favorite genetics posts.

My only computer access is at work and it's a little more complicated than that. My computer screen has two seperate desktops on it. One has Internet access and the other has the Microsoft office programs. I can't copy/paste between the two desktops.

That's a really interesting idea.

In the meantime, why not open a Google account (if you don't already have one!) and create a "Google Docs" document to save your favorite BYC info in?

Simple Solution:

Highlight the text you want to print.
Ctrl + P (to print)
Choose to print Selection (In print range option)
Click OK to print
