You would think with all the time and effort it takes to raise baby chicks that they would at least have the decency to respect all of the hard work you put forth to keep them safe. My last BR hen has been digging the escape tunnel for them and I've been trying to dissuade her with bricks. Wasn't fast enough today.

Managed to get the two escapees back inside and the hole is now blocked with a cinder block. The good news is the buff orpington chick now has a name...Houdini...
