So, I figured we needed a collective place to archive pro-chicken keeping ads and articles. There are PLENTY of them out there from all different states. People here are constantly looking for these documents and articles to support their cause, it would be nice to have one place to keep them all. Eventually I plan to print them all and keep hard copies then re-scan them all to an online library and can post the links for the online library here in alphebetical order by state.

Here is one that was just posted on The Chicken Whisperer's Facebook page. It's amazingly informative!

Urban Chickens Moving from Barnyards to Backyards

and it links to these pages which were also informative and helpful!

Olivia's Proposal and Speech

City Moving Forward on Chicken Ordinance

Lets get posting!

Thats one of my favorites! I'll talk to my friend who's a graphic artist. The things he can do on his computer are amazing! See if theres a print shop near you that maybe could help. IDK if theres any around e but I'll look!

that would be wonderful. since i saw this i knew it may get some attention and i do believe it applies today as well as back then. we are at war and in a recession.
i live in the panhandle of nebraska and haven't had any luck so if you have a lead, let me know! thanks.

I'm a blueprinter by trade and a chicken mother in my heart. I don't know where you are but you should check with a BLUEPRINTER. That's the knid of job we do. Most shops - like mine - can make it up to 60" wide by any length on water resistant or proof media with pigmented, non fade inks. Check your yellow pages for a BLUEPRINTER.

never heard of one, i thought blueprints were for architects? i'll ask my geek friend, he'll know. thanks for the recommendation. i think it will look really pretty in color. and it's totally patriotic!

Yes, Architects but we do many other things. Blueprinters can now be your go-to source for anything large format. We have kept the name but that's all thst's remained the same. Blueprinters are your source for large format copying. By the way I took that image posted in this site and within an hour with my C.A.D. sofware was able to clean it up like new and print it out. If you take this to a blueprinter, be sure they don't charge you more than 1 hour of computer work to clean it up - a decent operater (like me) can get it done really nice in that time and then call for it to be printed sepia, or any color you choose on any media you like. Rates vary from region to region.

Chicken Revolution, LOL.

The APA website has a good article too. It's really a great starter article and gives you an idea of where to go and what to do step by step in each situation.
