Probios® Dispersable Powder

Hello there,
I just got a tub of Probios Powder, but I am not sure how much to add to the feed of my girls. I am trying to find something per pound or per cup of feed, X amount of Probios.

Yeah, they are. It does come with directions, after I paid attention, sorry LOL.

It sounds like 1/2 tsp per day per chicken is about right for animals under 10 pounds. Probiotics really are only necessary for about twice a week unless they have been on antibiotics or Corid. You can mix it into a treat, feed with a little water or vegetable oil to cling, or in water. A good brand of plain cultured yogurt has very good probiotics. Here is the manufacturer's label:

I had the same question - and I couldn't find dosage for chickens on their label... but I guess chickens fall under the "All Other Pets" on their label.

Probios is good stuff. Sometimes I give it to my birds after worming. Sometimes buttermilk mixed in feed after worming.

I use this after antibiotics or worming. 1/2 tsp for a reg sized hen. I like it.
