I'm in a rush to start a chicken on probiotics. I have some dog probiotics on hand.

It's called Total-Biotics by Ultra Pet Products.
Ingredients: A proprietary blend of pure L. acidophilus DDS-1, B. bifidum, B. infantis, B. longum, L. casei, L. helveticus, L. plantarum, L. rhamnosus, L. salivarius, L. lactis, S. thermophilus. FOS Fructo-Oligosaccharides(a pre-biotic).

Is this safe to give to chickens? Do I just mix in the their water? Can you give to much?

Thanks!

I don't see any reason you can't give that to the chickens. I'd personally mix it with their feed rather than the water though. If you really want to make sure it's all eaten, moisten the feed, and mix it in with that. My guess is they'll gobble it right up.
