Probiotics After Deworming

Hi, BYC! I recently sent off a fecal test for my flock, and it came back positive yesterday for cecal worms. I am going to give everyone Safeguard this weekend, but I was wondering when, and if, I should give them a probiotic afterwards. Also, if I should, should I give just plain yogurt w/scrambled eggs? Unfortunately, my hens cannot roam. They are kept in a coop/run combo, and I give them veggies every now and then. I clean my coop and run often, but I’m trying to figure out a good protocol. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Mix buttermilk in plain boiled white rice and give it to them for a couple of days. You can mix it in their feed if you wish. Buttermilk is a much better probiotic than yogurt.
