problem getting chickens back in the coop

yeah- I wondered if the beautiful summer evenings were responsible!

Hopefully a 2 week or so 'reprogramming' will do the trick. I took them some nice yellow squash just now and they were just scratching and clucking away in there so it doesn't seem to be bothering them, being stuck inside the coop!

I agree with the other posts. Also is your coop well ventilated? Here is a picture of the back vent in my coop also you can see through to the front vent which is a little larger. I have a window on one side and a screened door on the other side with hardware cloth over the screened areas.
