My dwarf buck rabbit has developed a problem. He cant seem to hit his target after much trying and a very willing target lol. His parts look okay. what could be the problem?

can't really hep you out here, maybe they are just not compatible? maybe you would get more hits if you put rabbit in title. There are different kinds of buck and maybe the rabbit ppl are passing this by b/c they thinks its about goats......

Have to agree with miss north...I thought it was about a goat buck. Sorry I cant be of more help..Ive never heard of a rabbit "missings its target" thought rabbits were about the best at it LOL.

Good luck to your boy!

He could be too young yet. Are the does long haired? They might need a trim.
Not sure what else the problem could be. Are you sure it's a buck? And are you sure the gals are gals?
Funny story. A man came here to buy bunnies for his kids for 4-H. He was one of those, "I know everything." I just could not tell on the one bunny if it was a doe or a buck. He deemed it doe. A year later he brought her back to me for breeding to one of my bucks. I put the two of them in a cage together. I never thought to check the rabbits sex...this guy knew all about rabbits.
I had his rabbit here for a week, and never did see my buck breed her. He came to pick them up and I told him. He was certain that she was bred so he took her home.
He went to check her in at the fair and the person checking him in told him that his doe was a buck. I got a kick out of it because he was just so sure of himself.

There could be a few different reasons , one being the same sex rabbits,
another could be the buck or doe is too young,
he could be too small(height wise)
the Doe might be a largr doe,
She could just not be ready, ie: super gluing her bottom to the cage and refusing to lift.
in order for conception to occur the doe has to raise her butt up to accept the buck , i
f she isnt doing this then no amount of mounting will result in a stick.
best to try again in a few days, chances are the result will be worth the effort.
