thats why i am hesitant to put out my other too chicks i got about a 4 week old Barred Rock and about a 6 or 7 week old Rhode Island red right now i am keeping them inside till they get bigger but also because its been really rainy and cold here in the bay area, for exapmle it is snowing on the nearby mountains this never happens that ho w cold the weather been here the highs are in the low 40s, right now i still got my full grown RIR running around in the back yard hopefully safely but i dont know but im keeping an eye on her, my father in law built her a new house/ coop for her to hide in so i hope it helps we will see, im going to try to get some pics up of my new chicks so i can make sure that they are barred and a rir and if they are a chick or roo as i picked them up from some family and they wer ein bad shape but im taking care of them, and they said they didnt know what they were as being chic or roo so if you guys can please help me i will appreciate it
