Problem with Welsummer Eggs

Hi Everyone...this is my first post. I have a healthy flock of about 15 chickens of various breeds: RIR, Ameracauna, Red Star, Marans, Wyandaottes. I have one Welsummer (she's really pretty). Just two our of the flock are not laying currently and of rest that are laying I've never had any problems with the eggs. We give them plenty of calcium back with crushed up eggs and oyster shell. Our shells are usually pretty hard, in fact. However, although the Welsummer lays regularly, it is very rare for her eggs to survive the nesting box. She lays soft eggs. Any ideas? Thanks!

There are several possible causes. If she is young and has not laid long, it may correct itself in time. Here is one article about it:
