My mom called awhile ago, there is problem at home. I had some workers there earlier and evidently one left the gate open and one of my backyard dogs, a little one, got into the front and there is a dead chicken in the front yard now. She doesn't know what kind it is, just that it is black. That means it's probably my only Silkie roo. I'm worried now because Duchess has 5 babies out there, The Sisters have 3 between them and then my littlest ducks. Max isn't an evil dog but he's also never been with the chickens and ducks, but he'll bark at them through the fence at times. When my mom got home my Chihuahua Angel was walking down the street in front on my house!

Helplessness is such a terrible feeling! Hopefully your mom was able to get everyone back where they're supposed to be. I know it's not easy, but try to get through the schoolday the best you can and

hope for the best. Good luck.

The deceased is my little Polish roo Dapper Dan who came from Midland to live with Helena my Polish lady. She's in their pen looking for him, I have no idea how he got out of it in the first place. I've called the company that was working here and informed them owe me for a $150 Polish rooster. I told the fellow that answered the phone what happened and that they were lucky it was my only loss considering my Chihuahua was going walk-about down the road! I don't expect them to fork over $150, it just sounded good when he asked what the rooster was worth!

I'm sooo sorry to hear about your roo!

I have an extra red crested red polish roo if you'd like to have him. I don't know if your hen is the bantam or standard. He's standard, he has too much black in him for me to use him for breeding. Just let me know.

ETA: I also have an extra Golden Laced Polish Rooster that you could have if you want.

Helena is bigger than a Bantam, but I'm not sure she's a full size hen either. She's black with a white 'fro. I would love to have one of your roos!! Now that I'm back in school though I only have weekends free to drive up that way. I have to pics of your babies up too, the guineas and ducks are due Friday!!
