today the 16th of may is the hatching date of my ducklings. A while ago I ordered 9 mallard duck eggs and everything was going well. I candled the eggs every few days and all formed except for two. The other 7 eggs formed until I could visibly see the ducklings moving. Now only one hatched and none of the other survived I want to know what could have happened to the 6 ducklings within just 2-3 days before the due date

It is very soon to call it over, unless you know for a fact that they are dead. Which you shouldn’t unless you opened the eggs. Some hatch much later than others. I often have an early Hatcher up to two days before my last one. If I had to guess based off your information I would say humidity or over handling.

What was your temperature and humidity throughout incubation? Is your incubator still air or forced air?

Have you candled and confirmed that the rest of the eggs are definitely dead?

The candling had no effect, so don't worry that you handled them too much. A mother duck handles and turns her eggs something like 50 times a day, so taking them out every few days to candle will have no effect whatsoever. In fact, I once candled an egg every single day and took a picture to write an article on here. It hatched fine.
