problems posting pics

Hi everyone. I'm unable to download any pictures in my post because the download button is missing. I've posted pictures before and it was there then. I have dialup. What can I do to fix this?
Thanks for any help you can offer.
PS I also don't have any buttons showing in the yellow bar below the three white chickens when I'm posting

You might try emptying your cache and cleaning out your cookies, or rebooting. If you are using Windows Explorer, the site runs better on Firefox or Chrome, which are free.

Thanks Flockwatcher, I just cleaned my cookies out and the buttons on the yellow strip under the white chickens are back! Yay. But I still don't see anywhere to download a picture. I'm using Mozilla. While I typed that last sentence the page I was typing disappeared and low and behold, editing buttons have just appeared. Wow it is all fixed now! You are a genius!

I've had trouble with downloading pictures before and get an error message a lot of the time. When I posted my last two pictures today, I noticed that with all my attempts at downloading the previous picture, it was actually saved ten times on the file of my recent photos. How can I delete all the extras? Right clicking does not have delete as an option. Thanks again for any help you can offer.

If you get the error again, please copy and paste it. A screenshot of the error would be great. Also the browser and version you are using.

Regarding deleting the images: That's something we're working on adding soon. The new upload process is part of a larger image system overhaul and part of that will be getting proper image management (deletion) tools and features.

Thanks, Rob. I tried to download a picture and it worked so I didn't get the error message. I'll come back when it happens again and try to get a screen shot for you. Thanks for your answer.
