Problems with flys?

Ive had an issue with flies the past few months and all ive thought to do is continue cleaning the coop daily and try to keep it dry as possible as to try stop the maggots! Ive recently tried these fly strips, ive heard of them b4 but did not think they would be very useful, well a week later i would say there is about 80 % fly activity and now im well on top of it again!
Incase ur wondering, the poster in the 2nd pic is just a little motivation we like to keep in the coop!

I use fly strips some years. Flies are worse some years than others. I have to be careful not to walk into them or else I get sticky hair. Good catch.
