I just helped hatch my baby runner duck as it was stuck in the egg and needed help out. It has been about a day and a half now since he has been out of egg and it is alive but it cant stand, its feet are curled up but its trying, i dont know what to do. Any advice? I can take pictures to show if anyone wants to see. It just lays there and tries to move around.

Congrats on your new baby, make sure duckling is on something that has traction like the rubber shelf liner or old clean towels. And maybe get some poultry vitamins to help give it a boost since it struggled and needed help. and this link will take to poultry with leg and feet problems there are things you can do to help straighten the feet out till it's able to do it on it's own.
