She's my 7 yr olds only chick and I am ready to give her away to someone who knows what they're doing. I have tried to keep her with other chicks her age but she's so tiny she got bullied, so I moved her back in with the goslings. She gets cold with the heat lamp cause she won't stay under it she gets wet and nasty. I'm at my wits end. Oh and she got stepped on by everyone cause she goes right under them. Any suggestions please!?!?!?

She's been in with other banties they were twice her size and really big bullies. So I put her back with her original brooder mates the goslings they treat her nicely. I honestly do not know how she's still alive she is so tiny she squeezes out of every crack my five year old stepped on her head and gave her a bloody nose and then one of the 3 month olds grabbed her by the neck and was dragging her around while we chased her. Tweety is one tough cookie and very sweet but I feel awful cause it seems like we're not doing her any good. She also is having an identity crisis since she's mainly been brooded with goslings.

my suggestion is get rid of her and talk to your daughter why it is sometimes good to give a animal a more suitable home if it cannot be provided for properly...or get more chicks her age that are the same type of bird... or bring her in tha house for awhile and nurture her like u would a parrot. if that fails and she dies your daughter will have her lil heart broken... if brought indoors for 5 weeks or more she will have time to grow & your daughter will be able to have hands on care with the chick...why is the chick getting wet & nasty>>>??? keep tha lil ones at bay.
