Problems with shipped eggs in hot weather

Has anyone else received eggs Priority Mail in the summer and not had a single one develop?

Is there a temperature that they could be exposed to while in transit that will damage them?

Eggs that I got two weeks ago are fine, but the last two shipments, that arrived a week ago, are all clear!

One batch, I'd suspect the fertility was an issue, but this was from two different sources.
 
I receive hatching eggs in hot weather. I've never had a problem with the heat. I do have problems sometime from where they were shipped as I get ruptured air cells from handling by the postal service that do not develop. Never a fertility problem.
 
I have never had any luck with shipped eggs period. Better to pick them up local.I have driven 1 1/2 hours to pick up eggs.

Very disappointing since you pay so much for the eggs and shipping. I don't know if it was due to heat or the handling of the P.O.

On another note, I shipped eggs at the same time and all arrived safe and out of 12, 8 were hatchable. So I don't know about the heat situation.

I had 15 shipped from 2 diffent sources. Only 2 hatched. One batch was from right here in Florida and none hatched.
 
I have had problems this summer but not sure if its due to the heat?
Its been a kind of cooler summer here and very DRY, in my case I wonder if lack of humidity has something to do with it?
I got some duck eggs hatched out recently after I practically lived by the incubator putting water in. But of my chicken eggs recently, just one little Japanese bantam. A blue andalusian pipped but died in the shell.
 
all i have ever had are shipped Ebay eggs and have been lucky enough to have between 33% and 70% hatch I think the problem mostly lies with the handling/it is 114 degrees here just had my last eggs shipped from a fellow BYC'r in Ohio and after day 10 candling have 15 out of 17 growing and no detached air cells

oh yeah packing has a great deal to do with it also so glad these are my last shipped eggs! good luck!
