Folks, I feel like this is a learning thread with lots of useful information in it, so I've just spent a ton of time cleaning it up after it was reported. Big "thank yous" to those members who kept it on track; to those who find slaughtering meat birds offensive, please bypass these types of threads rather than posting negative comments.
