The one that was covered in sticky had dried in the shell stuck hard like when I finally got to him and picked it up it was hard but alive I actually put it in warm water and had to soak and bathe it. He looked better earlier but not so much now. As for yolker that only happened after I thought there was shell stuck on sticky and grabbed it but it turned out to be stuck to yolker so I think I did that on accident. As for my hatch it was awesome I had 12 hatch fine one glued when humidity spiked way down and yolker was last and fine until I pulled it's shell. More of my learning curve.... What I don't get is why the humidity dropped so much? I had 12 babes running around and humidity went up into 70 's while hatching and little later I looked and it was low 40's.

Boys crack me up... We're expecting a girl in April and I have NO idea what that's going to be like


My parents did the whole ugly divorce thing. My mom was a mess to begin with, easily swayed, unstable. So they fought and fought, throwing plates at eachother, stuff like that. Then they remarried a few years later, only to do it all over again. My dad wanted to co-parent, live close by so we could visit whenever we wanted. Then he got a new girlfriend, moved far away and it became every other weekend. The stupid manipulation game between the two never ended and eventually we stopped going to my dad's.


Didn't see him for 10 years, then he writes me. I write back, and he takes the information he got out of me to sue us to get child support back, because I told him we had summer jobs. The judge pretty much tossed the whole thing out, but it was crappy to see my dad in court like that. That was the last time I saw him... I moved to the US a few months later. I have no contact information for him, and I don't know if he's alive or dead.... Sad mess, that. It's been 10 years since I saw him in court. He has no clue that he has grandkids, or that my mom has passed away. I've tried Googling him.... but he apparently doesn't exist in the digital world.


In amusing news, I found an active warrant on my step-son's mom.. again ... I have the feeling she's not going to come to court on Tuesday... again. If she does, she will likely be arrested.

good luck with girl I have twins who are 14 and I love them to death but boy is there sooo much drama and whining. When people hear I have twin daughters they bow their heads and shake them and say they are so sorry. Lol. Wouldn't change anything they are great you will love her more than you can imagine just like the boys. Sorry about your father there will come a day when he has to take a look back at what he has done, usually happens when dying so he may find you some day.

Thanks for the cup idea she was finally able to relax and rest. Unfortunately the sac has not absorbed and is leaking. I tied a piece of thread at base and tightened sprayed with antibacterial/antifungal med put her back in cup to see if it will dry up and I can cut off. Last resort but worth a shot, she seems lively and drinks water. The other baby died which was a blessing, he rested on me up against my neck before passing. Hope the next time you all here from me it is good news. The 17 babies in laundry room are doing great!

Sorry but yes, it is often best. I had to euthanize one on Saturday.
