That was funny, but there have been many fights over the pet versus farm animal topic. Many small commercial poultry farmers, myself included, rarely go anywhere else other than the meat bird section. You limit your received input when you only post here. I do apologize for the gruff wording. Didn't mean to come off the wrong way.

I have a couple dozen pet ducks. Ever so slowly do they get names. I never, ever, ever eat the pets and most of them are spoiled rotten.

But anyone slotted for Freezer Camp is different.

I sort of agree that this would be better off in the meat area. Not just being it's a potentially touchy subject here, but because you will find more people who process meat over in the meat area, so the thread would probably have more responses.
