Processing - foot-controlled faucet designs?

I'll be processing a couple broiler batches soon and realize the value of a foot-controlled faucet for the purpose of flushing out carcasses before throwing them in the chill tub. Does anybody have a cheap, well-working system design they could share and post pics of here?

use a ball valve with the handle replaced by a steel tube. Step on one end and the valve opens, take you foot off and a weight on the other end closes it. (I would use a spring...).

Other than that there are commercial foot operated valves available from plumbing suppliers:
