I have been reading backyardchickens for quite some time, but this is my first post!

I really appreciate all the info available here and am thankful for such avid members!!

I am at a loss as to which breed this hen is... when i purchased it from TSC they had her labeled as a rhoad island red, but i know that she is not one as i now have a pure bred rhoad island.

Any help with what breed she is would be much appreciated!!

Production Red? Cherry Egger? or Gold Sexlink??

She is the reddish one in the pictures below.

Different hatcheries have different names for that kind of sex link, around here you see them called Red Stars, Isa Browns, Golden Buffs or Golden Comets mostly.

She is a Red Sex-Link. Red Sex-Links are known by other names, including Cinnamon Queens and Red Stars. They look just like your birds; reddish color with some white tail feathers and white flecking in the other feathers. Production Reds are just crosses of "red" birds that are bred to lay eggs. Cherry Eggers are other hybrids, and are generally an even brownish-red shade of color.

I'd say she's a red sex link. Here's my red sex link girl, Lemon:

As you can see, when everyone tells you they won't go broody, don't listen :p
