Production Red Pullet?

For the longest time I thought this bird was a cockerel! A little taller stance and comb came in quicker. Now I’m not so sure. I’m thinking pullet now
3 months old.

At I wouldn't expect it to have wattles and comb that big if it were a pullet but I had a production red mix that looked just like that and ended up being a pullet.

That's about the same sort of comb and wattles some of my 12-week Blue Australorp girls have.

Production Reds are bred to mature early and get to work laying eggs promptly instead of waiting for 6-8 months like slower-growing heritage breeds.

Dark red shoulder patches and large set of comb and wattles. And not to miss those male saddles either. Unfortunately, it is screaming male.
