Production Reds vs Golden Comets?

Is there any ONE sexlink hen that is the BEST layer? I have Golden Comets that are 3 yrs. old and lay every other day. I got Production Reds from Ideal Poultry in TX to replace them with, because I want hens that lay every day.

prod reds are the known hybrid for daily laying

indeed you did

although you could try white leghorns aswell

they lay

1. Daily
2. Even through winter with correct care
3. Have the best Feed to Egg Ratio

They are the True egg laying machines and teh best part is they are pure breed chicken not hybrids

Am I the only one, or do Production Reds have SMALLER eggs than Golden Comet hens? That is what I am finding! Ppl were willing to pay more for the Golden Comet eggs I used to have because they were bigger! These somewhat taller, larger Prod. Reds lay fewer and such small brown eggs! They have been laying for 2 months and they've stayed small. I feed Kalmbach layer feed.

I've never had a Production Red before but I did have a Red sex link. She would lay an egg every day, even through winter though some days she would rest.
