Thanks so much!!!!! Not only can I use this for chicks, but I make jewelry and can use this for that too. AWESOME!!!!!!!

I don't know if it has already been said or not -

You can set the white box ( or black box ) on a table/chair facing a window during the day - you will get great natural lighting and not need a light source. I do that all the time for detail shots of items - I hate trying to work with light bulbs. I took a ton of pictures just today of my baby chicks outside in the yard playing. I can't wait to get them uploaded onto my computer tonight!

Personally, I love light blue backgrounds for black and white colors.

Thanks, Hmmm now all I have to do is find some paint. *goes and searches for it*

PouletsDeCajun - you are wonderful! I've also been wanting to set up a light box, and just wasn't sure how to go about it. Your pictorial is fantastic! Thank you so much.

DITTO : Except I kinda didn't know I wanted a light box.
