Progress of my coop

I'm going to move the coop over to the left and the area between the chicken coop and the shed will be their run.

Why are you waiting to move it? It may get too heavy. It looks great what are the dimensions? I also second putting the nest boxes a little above the floor. I would put a little lip on the opening too so they cant easily kick the nest bedding out and also keep the mess from the coop floor out of the nests. BTW love the color!

I decided to move it yesterday so that is what I was waiting for lol. I put the eggbox 3 1/2 inches off the floor and will add a lip. The dimensions are 4' x 4' and I basically followed the Purina plans.

By moving it, the chickens will have a bigger run which will hopefully keep them happy. I always wanted to do this but I held off for years because I wanted to do it right.

Well it looks fantastic! Great job. And more run room is a good idea. From what I hear the coop is mostly for laying and sleeping.
