Progress!!

There you go, then. But just wait. They will bring tears, aches, joys... They will be your heart. Just so you know, they become way more than chickens.

It's awesome

I lost my Girdy the Birdy about a month ago and cried like a baby. When I got her the man I got her from hurt her leg and she never bounced back. It was ruff but its is the circle of life even when I don't like it it has to happen.
And they all have there own personalities and I think that is awesome

Losing one like that will break your heart. We were a mess a few months ago when one of our Stars got hit by a car. And OH I TORE MY NEIGHBOR UP!! She felt bad (and she doesn't speed near my house anymore). We set up triage and hospital in our bedroom. Dog kennels work great for private suites. We kept her in for observation. Smashed claw, broken beak, bruised wing, was what we found. Yogurt and feed mash, electrolytes, and lots of lovin'. She's back with the flock doing great. Laying like nothing ever happened. But something did happen. She bonded with us. She is even more accessible and she follows us more.

And another piece of my heart was stolen by yet another critter. Yeah, it's rough sometimes. But life would suck without critters.
