Thanks Dawg, so you mix 1/8th teaspoon of the powder into the gallon of water? Any easy way to measure that?

These instructions are for prohibit that I use on cows and goats right? The white and red baggie? There is an easier and more effective way to use Prohibit soluble powder in chickens.
Withhold the chickens water 2 hours the evening before birds go to roost for the night. This will make the wormer more effective in eliminating worms when you put out the treated water first thing the next morning.
Before letting your birds out of the coop in the morning, mix 1/8 teaspoon Prohibit with one gallon of water and provide it for your birds to drink throughout the day. It must be their sole source of water to drink. Your birds will be thirsty and will readily drink the treated water.
Discard leftover water when your birds go to roost for the evening and provide regular freshwater for them to drink the next morning. You've just completed day 1 of worming.
Day 2 is regular water.
Day 3, repeat the procedure in day 1.
Day 4 is regular water.
Day 5, repeat the procedure in day 1. This is your final day of worming with Prohibit (Levamisole.) Your birds are good to go about business as usual.
There is a 9 day withdrawal period after using Levamisole in chickens.
Probably so. Levamisole should be listed on the label:These instructions are for prohibit that I use on cows and goats right? The white and red baggie?
Do l do this twice a year? There is an easier and more effective way to use Prohibit soluble powder in chickens.

I don't think Prohibit is sold anymore.Do l do this twice a year?
Since you live in Wisconsin, twice a year would be fine. Here where I live, I have to use it more often.Do l do this twice a year?
