I'm so excited to have the coop and run almost done. Need to trim out and add pop door for them to enter and exit.

Nice set up. Thanks for sharing!

Whoa.....pretty impressive hill build!!
What's your climate?

That's real nice looking! I love seeing what people come up with!

We are located in Maine. We are still need to make some windows for the front for winter

Hi there! Fellow Mainer here :) My coop is almost finished as well. I like the design on the inside of yours! I would have liked to make mine a little bigger, but was limited due to the size of the metal roofing I was using. Tried to make it completely out of recycled or scrap materials :) ill be interested to see how it does over the winter!

Windows are good idea, top hinged offer much versatility.
Be sure to have some ventilation for winter...are the soffits open?
What will you do about snow load on the chicken wire roof of run?

We have it planned to make The windows to open to the side. The soffits are open for ventilation. As for the run, we plan to have a roof on it by winter. And then will wrap the run in plastic (partially) to give them place so they aren't cooped up

Top hinge you can leave open in the rain......but maybe rain isn't an issue with your overhang, you'll know soon enough.
Glad to hear you'll roof your run, you'll be really glad you did!

So far the rain hasn't been an issue with the overhang. We got the pop door cut, now we just have to figure how to trim it out and add a pulley system to close.
