Project: Crested EE

I would go for blue/green eggs. But yes pure for those. But I'm a blue and green eggs fan. 🥰
Well in order to get green eggs, one or both parents must carry a brown egg gene. That increases your likelihood of producing a percentage of brown egg layers which is typical of EEers. I will likely try to weed out the brown egg gene the NNer cockerel carries so I get birds pure for egg color and no brown egg layers. My Legbars lay a blue egg, but some of them have a slight greenish tint.

That's a good direction. When I say green I mean with in the standard of exceptance in Ameraucana. They have a color card for egg coloring exceptance and some look slightly green.

Which name do you like?
Lol, I do like Red Necker or just Rednecks in general. Its catchy as a name and a good descriptor of the birds.

Silver Belles is pretty tho. But it makes me imagine a nn Cochin or Orpington. With the big fluffy body and the naked neck.
