Prolapse and can't poop

Two days ago I noticed my chicken had a prolapse. There was an egg stuck that I was able to get out and another followed a few hours later. The prolapsed tissue is in pretty bad shape with a big scabbed over area and dead looking flesh. I'm cleaning it and using vetricyn spray. My biggest concern now is that she hasn't pooped in at least 2 days. I'm assuming the prolapse is blocking the poop but I don't know how to resolve that. The prolapse won't stay in and my understanding is that the flesh needs to heal before it can go back inside.
She is about 6 months old and just started laying. I have her isolated and am only giving her a little food.

Could you provide pictures?

The other chickens likely pecked at her prolapse because they smelled her blood. Chickens do that. It is unfortunate. I had a hen who had a orolapse a long time ago. I fixed it and I guess I did not clean her well enough, so the other chickens smelled her blood and killed her.

Is the prolapsed tissue black and dried out, and does is smell bad? Do you know how long she's been likd this? Let me call on some of the Educators for their advice.

Meanwhile please keep it coated with a triple antibiotic ointment, petroleum jelly or Preparation H to keep it moist. Protect her both from flies and from her sister chickens, as you are doing.

Moisten her food so it's like cooked oatmeal, that will help to keep her hydrated. Be sure to provide grit and fresh water if you are keeping her caged near her flock so she does not lose status.

@Jaimelee are you getting notifications that you have some responses? Has there been any improvement? Epsom salts soaks in shallow warm water daily may help followed by a little rubbing with a cloth may help get the healthy tissue exposed. Keep the prolapse from drying out by applying vaseline or honey. Calcium with vitamin D or Tums given orally may also help pass any other egg that is blocking her vent. Give her fluids and watery feed.

Sorry I didn't get pictures posted earlier. Hopefully these help. The white is very hard and isn't washing away. I'm doing this on my own so it's a bit challenging to get a good angle. I tried soaking to soften it up but she resists being in the water. I'm having a hard time determining what is decaying flesh vs poop or urine. There still isn't any significant poop in her enclosure though, only a few very small pellets.

No improvement yet. Still no poop. I discovered it Wed morning. I've been doing hydrocortisone cream on it. There were some maggots when I first cleaned it but I haven't seen any since. I just dealt with fly strike on another girl recently so I'm trying to stay on top of that.

If she resists being in the water, then use some warm epsom salt compresses.
That white material can set up like concrete. Do you have any Mineral Oil? If not, how about coconut oil? Mineral oil works a little better, but apply some oil to the white material, then hold your warm compress on it, keep the compresses fairly warm. Do this for about 10minutes if she will tolerate it. Then see if any of the white material will start to come loose. Stop if the tissue starts to bleed.

Once done, coat all of that really well with your anti-inflammatory cream, some honey, oil, etc. whatever you have to keep the tissue moist.

I would get Calcium into her one daily. This is important. Calcium can help with retention and healing.
You can find Calcium Citrate+D3 in the vitamin aisle of stores like Walmart, CVS, etc. Give 1 tablet daily, just pull down on her wattles, pop the tablet into the beak and let her swallow.

Do make sure she's drinking. She needs to stay hydrated.

Thank you. Getting the coconut oil and heading out there now.
