Is she pooping normally? Where exactly is this thing coming out? Is it the vent or where? I wonder about possible intussusception where the bowel can become telescoped into itself and protrude from the vent.

I hope it isn't intussusception, that's disgusting and doesn't sound like it'll end well. Its right next to the vent, not coming out as I originally thought.

A hernia beside the vent would have a better outcome hopefully. The hernias I have read about here are usually in the abdomen or under the vent. Let us know what happens, and good luck.
