Prolapse ?...or vent gleet?... or something else...shes only 9 weeks old...can anyone help

my baby chicken 9 weeks old has a very swollen butt with yellow matter stuck like skin on her bottom all surrounding feathers are covered with it not dry and hard all over its sticky and hard to get off...it looks like egg yolk ...her butt also looks like its coming out of the inside...I have been reading all weekend and trying/using and doing everything suggested
like epson salt...yougert...some apple cider vinegar in her water...bathing her bottom and using neo on her butt...there is a very very small spot that might be peck or skin tear ...no bleeding...she eats some...seems thirsty often ...she is isolated in my house so i can keep a close eye on her...i dont think she could have had an egg stuck shes way too young...she is also very vocal when i hold her almost a kind of singing if chickens could do that...idk if shes in pain...but im guessing if any of us had a bottom looking like hers we would be in agony ...what if anything can i do to help her and if you have the link that would greatly help...shes small and i think also lost quite a bit of weight...her little cone is a whitish color making me think she needs more vitamins but whats ok to give a chicken...any and all help advice....Thank you so much

A 9 week old chick won't be laying, so it isn't prolapse. It is very possible there has been some vent picking going on. Some warm water on a cotton ball might help you remove the yellow stuff which is likely pasty manure from being stressed. Just be gentle and don't irritate the vent area by cleaning it. Get some triple antibiotic ointment with no procaine to help that sore tear heal. Apply a thin amount on the sore once a day. You need to be wise about introducing that pullet you have separated once she heals up. The others will harass her as the lowest on the pecking order. I'd introduce her back at night when the rest are roosting. Then get out early the next morning and observe behavior when you let them out. Things should be fine, but let us know how it goes.

thank you...I will be very careful when i put her back...she is so gross on that bottom i want it totally gone before she is put back in with the other's

You know, a picture would be helpful. If there really is yeast on there, there will have to be a different treatment. Take a picture of some droppings too, if possible.

Really gross this just after i cleaned her bottom this morning still a bit wet...it does look a bit better...tiny wound close to vent opening...skin is less red than yesterday...but she is really hanging her wings this morning...

Thanks...I posted 2 pictures of her bottom...she is pooping...but no clear because of bedding sticking to it...but there seems to be a normal amount of droppings...i will try and get a picture of that today...I feel so bad for her...I hope she is not in pain...thank you for the help and advice with her

I wouldn't put her back, she will be picked on. She looks like prolapse, however, you stated she is 9 weeks old not 9 months, is this correct?

medicated crumble...i was told to keep them on this till there 6 months old...in the recent past cold weather here i had been adding 1 T apple cider vinegar per gallon of there drinking water...she is the only 1 thankfully with this problem i have been worried it was something contagious ...

Poor little girl, so young. This may be a common thing for her after shes treated. Hopefully she will be ok and there are no other issues. Food is fine.
