Thank you!! Now she wants to lay. Is it possible and ok to keep her from laying? We kept her in the dark most of the day, but now she doesn’t want to be in the dark and acts like she wants to go lay.

I'm not sure. Probably no way to keep her from laying without a medical implant by a vet but darkness won't hurt.
