Prolapse Question

thanks farmerfran.i just feel sorry for her being cooped up in a small dark cage.i was thinking of maybe putting some bedding in there as long a the prolapse is gone.maybe it will make her feel more comfy..

update-well she layed another egg today,so keeping her in the dark didnt keep her from laying,but still no prolapse.yah!! her vent still looks big to me but i figured shed be ok to go back out with her buddies.she was soooo happy to be back with them.ill keep a very close eye on her,but i figure if she layed an egg and is still ok then she should be ok outside.

Good job!

I am so glad she is managing to hold it in. I would however still keep up with the Prep H for a while longer as it sounds as if her vent is still swollen.

Keep a very close eye on her because once they have prolapsed it could happen again but now you have the knowledge to deal with it.
