Hi we noticed a hen with prolapse two days ago
I don’t feel or see a egg except I did feel something similar when I massage under her vent .. I used hemmorid cream and was able to get the prolapse back in we and kept her caged another day and all seemed well .. I actually was trying to change her bedding and she got out and took off with the others but prolapse seemed ok so I just let her go .. checked on her today and it is back out but this time looks horrible it’s very dark red both areas .. looks like insides are exposed as well as another area reminding me of like the vent?? I tried to push back in after giving her a quick soak and she just seemed like it hurt this time .. seriously can’t even get it to go in seems to be hard and more swallow if that makes sense .. I know we are playing against time .. what to do !?! If there is a egg stuck where is it?? How do I know ?? Tips suggestions much needed
