Just happened yesterday evening. Why is it brown and yellow and not pink/red?? These photos are after a soak. She has like gooey yellow/whitish discharge too and when I try to gently push it back inside (with prep h), so I can make a little support sling above and below the vent opening (idea from another post), she just pushes it right back out. Managed to get it back inside her yesterday but it was out again this morning and the poor thing later an egg. Any and all advice appreciated! Thank you!

I would start her on 300mg Calcium Citrate+D3 once daily asap. Give for at least 7 days. Calcium is important for retention, healing and contractions.

Soaking in an epsom salts bath may help if she will tolerate it. Keep the exposed tissue coated with the Prep H, Raw Honey, Hydrocortisone Cream, etc.

The brown is likely some fecal matter or dead tissue, it can be hard to tell. The yellow/white is urates and they will be gooey, sticky and crust up.

You can put some mineral oil on there to help keep that from crusting up so badly, but until the tissue heals, reduces in size and inflammation subside, the tissue will usually not stay in. How long this will take is a guess, sometimes a few days to week(s).

Since it's only been a day and she's pushing it back out, then it probably needs to heal up a bit more before trying to sling it to stay in.
