I’m just at a loss as to what it is.
He is walking/running around just fine. His beak is not pale. He ate and drank fine. He bathed and splashed around in the tub when he was soaking.

It couldn’t be his vent? Could it?

Tractor Supply won't have the drugs I mentioned, but they will have injectable penicillin (unless you live in California, no antibiotics in California).

I'm not a vet, but I have seen cancerous tumors in many animals and they are always hard, never squishy.

Thanks! I wish I had some prep-h or KY to lube up his proloase as there was some scaly skin that I peeled away and it was bright redish pink underneath that. That area was near his body and easily went up.

You can buy fish antibiotics that work great on line I have bought Fish Mox (Amoxicillin in 250 and 500 mgs. This is on line.

Which would be best here @casportpony what about Baytril?

Baytril is great, but I don't think it's the right choice at this stage. I think something like Augmentin, smz/tmp, amoxocillin, or maybe cephalexin would be better.
