So im pretty confident this is in the wrong thread.

I know normally it should be in the emergencies diseases etc part, but i feel like thats just if you need assistance (i could be wrong) or in need of advice.
I don’t need advice, i think im pretty set. This is just a follow along..
I would feel like putting this in Emergancies diseases and cures would be a waste for people who actually need help ASAP, and then it would be harder to find those.

A few days ago i noticed there were some Pekin ducks. Right off the bat you can tell they are totally domesticated. I mean, they would practically sit in your lap. Except, they will NOT let you touch them. They can only touch you! They got abandoned at a small pond.

Upon further inspection, i noticed one duck was acting strange, a little slower. And instantly, you see a massive, reddish ball sticking out of its hind area.

A prolapsed vent.

So here comes the great duck chase! The goal is to catch the duck and fix the prolapse

Follow along, and i’ll give updates. I don’t know if i can fix it, or heck, even catch the duck, but i surely will try!

This article goes over a hen with a
prolapsed vent. I'm pretty sure it would also apply to your duck.

Keep us posted and wishing her a full recovery!🙏🤞:hugs:fl

What happened? My duck has this issue and I just discovered it.
So sorry i haven’t been posting updates. The ducks disappeared because i think people came to pick them up to bring them to a humane society. Wish the little girl the best!

You need to fix it right now or the duck will die. You have limited time. Separate her.
