1) What type of bird , age and weight (does the chicken seem or feel lighter or thinner than the others.)

She's a mix breed egg that one of my chickens hatched. She's about 5 months and she seems the same as the other chicks weight wise

2) What is the behavior, exactly.
We noticed this thing coming out of her behind and blood in her behind. She was doing fine during the day eating and drinking

3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms?
It seems she had like a runny poop ass for w little bit now, but today we saw the thing pop out

4) Are other birds exhibiting the same symptoms?
No

5) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma.
Yes there was blood in the feathers a bit

6) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation.
Not sure if she tried to make an egg?

7) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all.
Just regular chicken food and water. We saw her eating thoroughout the day

8) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc.
I think it has been runny as we saw her behind dirty

9) What has been the treatment you have administered so far?
nothing so far. We tried to put it back in but then it came back out

10 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet?
We want to see if there is anything we can do to help her though the night

11) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help.
See attached pictures

12) Describe the housing/bedding in use.

We have put her in a separate pen with wood chips for now. Usually they have a chicken run area with dirt

Oh dear! :hugs

I'm sorry no one replied to your post. How is your hen doing?
Thank you , turns out she was egg bound in the prolapsed vent. Hubs tried to help get the egg out , he got 2 more after. Tried putting the prolapsed vent back in. But the next morning it popped back out. Not sure if it's her anatomy. We had to put her down :'(

Sorry, I just had this happen this past week & it's my 1st time dealing with it for a chicken.
I'm sorry for your loss.
I've tried to do a lot of reading to learn about this, and the overall prognosis for chickens is not good. I've had a few Homing Pigeons with this issue a few times, some did fine afterwards but a few didn't live long, other internal reproductive issues. Anyway, it's one of those things that we will likely encounter, at some point, having hens in our lives, so for future reference, here is a link to what I did this past week. My hen is not young, so I am guessing that while she seems ok now, she probably won't stay ok.
Again, sorry for your loss.
