One of our hens had a prolapsed vent, we separated her from the flock, put her in a darkened area, gave her scratch grains and other protein, removed the feathers around the area, cleaned her up, spent about 3 days reinserting the prolapse multiple times before it finally stayed in and used up nearly a full tube of Preparation-H. So, now the question: How long do I keep her segregated from the flock and when do reintroduce layer feed?
The prolapse has remained in for about 36 hours now.

I don't see why she can't eat layer feed now. I don't believe I would put her back until she laid a couple of eggs without a problem, if she lays.

Thank you for the quick answer, I will do as you say. Just wanted to thank this forum for all the expertise out there I am new to this and it has been a great resource. Thanks again.
