Prolapsed Vent?

I can't tell if my call hen has a prolapsed vent? She's about 8 months old and started laying last week. Her vent area looks reddish and possibly like something is protruding. What do I need to do to fix this if it is a prolapse?

I let my hen soak in warm Epsom salt water each day and ...
Then I put small amount of hemmoroid cream inside her vent, did this for 3 days, and she was fine.
