hi my chicken had a prolapse vent wich was really bad I kept her in for 16 hrs for 4wks with food and water. , the out come was great, put her back in with the other chickens and she is fine. All still okay now I'm so pleased, quite a few people told me to put her down but she is an old chicken she is no laying witch I'm not worried about because I saved her from a chicken farm, so she is having a great rest which she deserves ,
