I had a college kid tell me in a paper about a high school teacher!
He was an adult already, but I set up a meeting and told him he could choose to be involved or not but that I was going to report the teacher. He eventually decided to come forward and we went to the police together. The kid got counseling, but he left school at the end of the semester and I never saw him again. I never heard back from the police either.
Either he recanted (common) or the police couldn't get anywhere with it. I don't know. I wasn't the official reporter, the kid was so I am out of the loop.
